These frames are made from Acetate, a plant-based "eco-plastic". The fibres are pressed into a laminate, then cut, shaped, and polished by hand. Unlike cheap moulded petroleum-based Polycarbonate plastic it is strong yet flexible, and ideal for high quality eyewear frames.
