I ordered a pair of the Aviator's which cost me £56.91 (U.K pounds) and customs have slapped on a VAT charge of £11.30 and in addition to that Royal mail have slapped on a handling charge of £8 making a total of £20.30 which is more than a third of the cost of the goods!! Forget it! Not worth doing that again..... I also didn't get a reply to my email question to Rhythm Optics for my request to see the blue blocking lab spec results..... Hhmmmm.....
Yes unfortunately Her Majesty enforces a law upon which for the last few hundred years any imported goods to the UK require the payment of import tax and duties. As a company that values integrity, we aren't willing to commit fraud by falsifying values on the government required legal export documents to aid customers in tax evasion. If you purchased from within the UK you would have had to pay VAT at purchase. Buying from outside UK is excluding VAT which is added by law upon import, so the extra cost is really only the £8 processing.. To help offset this we are one of the only ecommerce companies in the world I know of offering free international shipping. However, to ease your pain, I'm sending you an £8 refund as an act of goodwill.

I love them! They work so well. So well that I cant even see any lights that are actually blue. Comfy too :)
These are wonderful for around the house or winding down when you have to be out in public. Wearing aviators makes it seem like a fashion choice, in addition to a health choice. Highly recommend!!! Great quality, great customer service.
